The following Resolution was Moved by Vice-President Roth, Seconded, and unanimously Adopted:
RESOLUTION NO. 0126-04-337: APPROVAL OF MINUTES ADOPTED
RESOLVED, that this Commission does hereby approve the Minutes of the Regular Monthly Meeting of December 08, 2003.
NOTE: ALL ADOPTIONS ARE UNANIMOUS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.

- Director's Report
Director of Cultural Affairs Richard Newirth annouced the release of the new WritersCorps book City of One to be released in May 2004 by Aunt Lute Books.
Mr. Newirth stated that the new mayor, Gavin Newsom, would be sworn in on Thursday, January 8, 2004 at 11:30 a.m at City Hall.
He commented that a bust of outgoing Mayor Willie Brown would be dedicated to the city at 4:00 p.m. today at City Hall.
Mr. Newirth stated that the deadline to apply for scholorships for the California State Summer School for the Arts is in Febuary 28, 2004.
Mr. Newirth stated that the National Poster and Advertising company is offering an opportunity to San Francisco based non-profits to participate in their free poster advertising campaign. The company provides free printing and city wide distribution of poster advertising the work of local non-profit arts organizations. The commission will randomly select 10 organizations and 5 alternates from the Arts Commission's granting data base. The names are as follows and will be offered to participate in this order:

3. Cutting Ball Theater
4. Likha Pilipino Folk Ensemble
5. Del Sol String Quartet
6. New Langton Arts
7. Robert Moses' Kin
8. Arab Film Festival
