Meeting Information

At this time, members of the public may address the Board on items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Board except agenda items.  With respect to agenda items, your opportunity to address the Board will be afforded when the item is reached in the meeting with one exception. When the agenda item has already been reviewed in a public hearing at which members of the public were allowed to testify and the Board has closed the public hearing, your opportunity to address the Board must be exercised during the Public Comment portion of the calendar.   Each member of the public may address the Board for up to three minutes.   If it is demonstrated that comments by the public will exceed 15 minutes, the President may continue Public Comment to another time during the meeting.

Subject property at 3620 – 19^th Street.  Letters from Eileen Gold, Saandra Nazzal, and Earl Brown, appellants, requesting rehearing of Appeal No(s). 04-148, Gold & Nazzal vs. ZA, &        04-149, Brown vs. ZA, decided Jan. 19, 2005.  At that time, upon motion by Commissioner Fung, the Board voted   2-2-1 (Vice President Sugaya & Commissioner Knox dissented, Commissioner Saunders absent) to uphold the subject determination with a finding that the Zoning Administrator abused his discretion when he determined that the west side interior units’ west facing 2^nd floor (bedroom) windows were in compliance with the plans approved by the Board of Supervisors on June 25, 2001.  4 out of 5 votes being required to overturn or modify a departmental action under Charter  § 4.106(d), the motion failed, and the subject determination was upheld without any modifications.
