 4. CAO Update
- Caitlin Jacobson from the City Administrator’s Office suggested to CAC to vote on proposed rules and regulations amendments [Action] -Approved 3-0
Caitlin Jacobson gave notice to CAC that the City Administrator’s Office intends to enter 2019 CBA negotiations with Lever and Black Cat Restaurant. [Discussion].
Caitlin Jacobson clarified that Lever, PAE Engineers, and Fitness SF plans to renew their CBA agreements.

 5. Presentation by Company Liaisons on year to date progress. [Discussion]
a. This section gives the Company Liaisons the opportunity to present on the activities in the community.

6. Update from Company Liaisons on Public School Initiative. [Discussion]
a. Twitter –Tom Tarantino and London Lee shared that their in-kind donations have increased including 65k in computers to the Community Technology Network and that for cafeteria local spending is on average 80% each month.

b. Lever –Annie Lin shared that Lever has continued their local spend efforts and are continuing their monthly partnership with Project Openhand.  They have partnered with Twitter and PAE Engineers on the 2019 Strategic School Plan. 

c. PAE Engineers –Sarah Dawson shared that they had a fundraiser for Tenderloin Community School.  They continued to meet with Lever to find ways to support public school and believe a third company joining this effort would be helpful.  They plan to provide tutoring services for Redding Elementary in partnership with Lever, and host a drive for school supplies. 

7. Discussion of potential for companies to continue efforts of collaboration past the CBA agreements. [Discussion]

8.  General Public Comment
a. Julie Roberts-Phu from Redding Elementary School –Shared that Twitter and Lever participated in their event, including donating items for it.  She shared their student enrollment is continuing to fluctuate.  They started an Arabic language pilot program, and is considering a Vietnamese pilot as well. Stated that PAE was planning to host a fundraiser for them, and this CBA process has been empowering for them.
b.Curtis Bradford from Tenderloin People’s Congress- Wants to present to the CAC on their work in the neighborhood at the next meeting.
 
The Brown Act forbids a Committee from taking action or discussing any item not appearing on the posted agenda, including those items raised at Public Comment. In response to public comment on an item that is not on the agenda, the Committee is limited to:
 
• briefly responding to statements made or questions posed by members of the public, or
• requesting staff to report back on a matter at a subsequent meeting, or
• directing staff to place the item on a future agenda. (Government Code Section 54954.2(a).)

Accessible MUNI lines nearest City Hall are: 42 Downtown Loop, 49 Van Ness-Mission and F-Market & MUNI Metro (Civic Center Station). There is accessible parking available in the vicinity of City Hall.
