2.   In addition the Commission acted to increase the salary for each fiscal year effective July 1, 2005 based on the CPI-U reported in January of each year and not to exceed 5%.  (Vote of 5 to 0)

3.  The Commission also acted that the salary will not
decrease in the event the CPI-U falls below zero.

Sgt. Mark Osuna and Insp. Narda Gillespie expressed their concerns about the Q – 60 Lieutenant Eligible List and the selection process utilized for Q – 60 Lieutenant appointments and requested extending the Eligible List.   The Commission directed its Executive Officer to calendar the matter at its Regular Meeting of June 7, 2004.
