Mary Donovan, Municipal Transportation Agency and Diana Diaz-Vargas spoke on Item #14.  Ms. Diaz-Vargas withdrew her appeal in favor of a resolution with the Municipal Transportation Agency.

REQUEST TO SPEAK ON ANY MATTER WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION

 

Paula Gustafson, Attorney at Law spoke on conditions at Laguna Honda Hospital and how the merit system principle is being manipulated, specifically referring to Civil Service Commission Rule 111.8.  She also referred to Rule 102.6 and 102.7 and other Rules on Examinations, Eligible Lists and Certification of Eligibles.  The Commission directed the Executive Officer to respond to Ms. Gustafson’s concerns.
