Postpone to the meeting of March 5, 2001. The Commission instructed 1) the City Attorney to advise the Commission on whether the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors is considered a department head; and 2) the Human Resources Director to provide the percentage of exempt positions to civil service
positions, detailed descriptions of duties and responsibilities of the requested positions, and a comparison of the requested positions to existing Special Assistant positions.

     
 

March 5, 2001:

1) Approve the exemption from civil service the
Special Assistant categories for the Department on Aging and Risk Management positions as authorized by Charter Section 10.104-1 through 10.104-12 and; 2) Postpone discussion on the Special Assistant category for Deputy Clerk, Board of Supervisors to the meeting of April 2, 2001.
