Civil Service Commission Strategic Planning Retreat. Commissioners have been provided with copies of Charter Sections 10.100 through 10.105, 8A.104 and A8.409, the Civil Service Commission Mission and Vision Statement, and an Outline of Discussion.

Margo Reed, SEIU Local 1021 – is in agreement with Commissioners on providing copies of the department’s submittal of materials at the same time as the Commission.

|
Kevin Hughes, Electrical Workers, Local 6 – agrees with Margo Reed and Commissioners on having access to information at the same time it is given to the Commissioners.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Jennifer Johnston, Department of Human Resources – stated she is working with an intern to study and streamline the Rules.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Joe Brenner, IFPTE Local 21 – spoke on concerns regarding the protection of the merit system and the number of personal services contracts when there is a large deficit.
