All matters listed hereunder constitute a Consent Agenda and are considered to be routine by the Commission on the Status of Women. They will be acted upon by a single roll call vote of the Commission. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Commission so requests, in which event the matter shall be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item. Members of the public may speak on each item listed on the Consent Agenda.

- NEW BUSINESS DISCUSSION/ACTION
a. Introductions Commissioner Keehn 10 min.
Senior Policy Analyst Donnola will act as mediator for the retreat meetings. Ms. Donnola and Commissioner Keehn will review the rules of order which will be employed during the meeting.
b. Review 2005 Calendar for COSW Meetings President Shorter 5 min.
The Commission will review the 2005 calendar and change any Commission dates that conflict with a holiday or scheduling.
Action: To approve the 2005 Commission Meeting calendar.
c. Efficiency Plan for DOSW Commissioner Keehn 30 min.
The Commission will discuss and, if needed, make changes to the DOSW Efficiency Plan.

The Commission will review the charter requirements and discuss how these requirements are being met. The following components will be discussed:

American Sign Language interpreters and a Sound Amplification System provided upon request with 48-hour advance notice to 415-252-2570. Translation into languages other than English is also available with 48-hour notice. Limited accessible street parking available. Accessible MUNI lines are the 6, 7, 66, and 71 lines. Accessible seating for persons with disabilities (including those using wheelchairs) will be available. Meeting proceedings available in alternative formats. The Board of Supervisors has amended the Sunshine Ordinance by adding provision 67A.1. The provision is effective as of January 21, 2001.
