Voter Registration Status Lookup Tool
The Department’s website includes a voter registration status lookup tool, at sfelections.org/reglookup. The tool allows people to review whether their registration information is up to date and accurate, including language preference for election materials and political party preference, and whether they are listed to receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the next election.

To use the lookup tool, people just need to input their house number, ZIP code, and birth date to access their voter registration details in English, Chinese, Spanish, or Filipino.

On National Voter Registration Day, Department personnel will attend a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Naturalization Ceremony, which will take place 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre, 2025 Broadway in Oakland. Staff will welcome approximately 1,000 new citizens, providing them with the information about registration and voting rights, and responding to election-related questions.
