Please post this agenda for homeless and formerly homeless people. All LOCAL HOMELESS COORDINATING BOARD (LHCB) meetings are public. Homeless and formerly homeless San Franciscan’s are encouraged to attend LHCB meeting.
Note: Public Comment will be taken after each agenda item. Public comment must pertain to the agenda item. Each public comment is limited to 2 minutes. General public comment is taken at the end of the meeting.
I. Introduction – 5 min
II. Minutes from January meeting- 5 min (for action)
III. Mayor’s Housing Opportunity Partnerships, and Engagement (HOPE) Office- 10 min: Standing agenda item for update from Bevan Dufty, Director of Mayor’s Office of HOPE
IV. Swords to Plowshares Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Application—20 min (for discussion and action). The Local Homeless Coordinating Board will consider the request for endorsement of Swords to Plowshares. Leon Winston will present the Swords to Plowshares Plan. The LHCB can only endorse 2 applicants for SSVF funds in San Francisco, as the San Francisco CoC governing body.
V. Hamilton Family Center SSVF Application—20 min (for discussion and action). The Local Homeless Coordinating Board will consider the request for endorsement of Hamilton Family Center. Devra Edelman will present the Hamilton Family Center Plan. The LHCB can only endorse 2 applicants for SSVF funds in San Francisco, as the San Francisco CoC governing body
VI. Affordable Care Act Client Enrollment—20 min (for discussion and possible action) Angela Shing of the H.S.A. Medi-Cal division will present information about how to enroll homeless and formerly homeless people in Medi-Cal benefits now that the Affordable Care Act has been implemented.
VII. Hacktivation—20 min (for discussion and possible action) Kyle Stewart and Ilana Lipsett will present their plans for an upcoming Hacktivation for the Homeless.
VIII. Committee Updates—10 min (for discussion and possible action):
a. Funding Committee— Megan Owens and Kevin Sharps will update the LCHB about the recent Funding Committee adoption of an updated HMIS Agreement, and the collection of existing policies into an LHCB Governance Charter. Megan Owens will give an update on the submission of the San Francisco CoC NOFA.
b. Coordinated Assessment— Next Meeting Monday March 10th at 3:30 pm in Born Auditorium

Persons who are unable to attend the public meeting may submit to the Local Homeless Board, by the time the proceedings begin, written comments regarding the subject of the meeting. These comments will be made a part of the official public record, and brought to the attention of the Local Homeless Board.
