Please post this agenda for homeless and formerly homeless people. All LOCAL HOMELESS COORDINATING BOARD (LHCB) meetings are public. Homeless and formerly homeless San Franciscan’s are encouraged to attend LHCB meeting.

Note: Public Comment will be taken after each agenda item. Public comment must pertain to the agenda item. Each public comment is limited to 2 minutes. General public comment is taken at the end of the meeting.

II. Minutes from February meeting- 5 min (for action)

III. Mayor’s Housing Opportunity Partnerships, and Engagement (HOPE) Office- 10 min: Standing agenda item for update from Bevan Dufty, Director of Mayor’s Office of HOPE

IV. Update on the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) Program in San Francisco—15 min (for discussion and possible action): Jake Martin of the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center will provide the LHCB with an update on the VASH program in San Francisco

V. Continuum of Care Application for the Social Security Outreach, Access and Recovery (SOAR) TA Project—15 min (for action): Megan Owens, LHCB Policy Analyst will seek LHCB guidance regarding: a Request for Applications (RFA) from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) for SOAR training and technical assistance. This RFA is issued to Continuums of Care (CoC’s) only, but if awarded the training would be available to non-CoC funded agencies. VI. Seat 1 Vacancy on the Shelter Monitoring Committee—5 min (for discussion): Caroline Caselli has resigned from the Shelter monitoring committee, and Seat 1 is now vacant. The Seat #1 Member shall have experience providing direct service to the homeless through a community setting. Applications will be available in person or via email from megan.owens@sfgov.org. Complete applications are due to Megan Owens by Friday March 21st at 5:00 pm. The LHCB will consider applications at the April 7th LHCB meeting. Applicants must be present at the April 7th Local Homeless Coordinating Board to be considered.

VII. Committee Updates—10 min (for discussion and action):

a. Funding Committee— The next Funding Committee meeting will revise the San Francisco Local Continuum of Care Performance Measures. Proposed Time and Location: City Hall Room 416 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.

b. Coordinated Assessment— Next Meeting Monday March 10th at 3:30 pm in Born Auditorium.

c. HMIS Committee—Megan Owens will seek LHCB member nominations to the HMIS Committee.

SUBMITTING WRITTEN PUBLIC COMMENT TO THE LOCAL HOMELESS BOARD
Persons who are unable to attend the public meeting may submit to the Local Homeless Board, by the time the proceedings begin, written comments regarding the subject of the meeting. These comments will be made a part of the official public record, and brought to the attention of the Local Homeless Board.
