San Francisco Kindergarten to College Program
The San Francisco Kindergarten to College (K2C) Program is a college savings program by the City and County of San Francisco in partnership with the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD). A K2C college savings account is automatically opened for each SFUSD student entering kindergarten, or a participating program year. The City and County of San Francisco starts each account with $50, and families have the opportunity to earn additional incentives.
K2C is seeking to partner with organizations to participate in the K2C Family Engagement and Outreach Initiative to support the outreach efforts of the program. K2C will fund grantee recipients with up to $9,999 per twelve month period to support partner organizations to serve as the main point of contact for K2C outreach at target schools, neighborhoods, or in priority communities. Click here for application.
K2C is excited to announce that every child who attends a public elementary school (in the San Francisco Unified School District) will have the chance to build savings for college. See a list of our participating schools here.
