7. DPW Representation – "DPW Representative to the Committee (discussion) - Section 5.130(c) of the City Administration Code calls for a representative of the Department of Public Works to send a regular representative to BAC meetings. Currently no representative has been appointed. This relates to finding a reliable tracking system for 311 calls relating to roadway conditions.
Action: Presentation and Discussion with DPW Representative David Froelich.

8. Recommendations for Caltrain’s Bike-on-Board Service – Projections predict that over 20% of Caltrain passengers will bring a bike onboard in 2021. The three major bicycling organizations, representing SF, San Mateo, and Silicon Valley have developed joint recommendations, one of which addresses the issue of bike capacity for 20% of Caltrain passengers.
Action: Determine if the BAC should pass a resolution for 20% capacity, or write a letter of
endorsement of the entire joint agreement, including recommendations on bike capacity for 20% .

9. Recognition of Leah Shahum – Leah Shahum recently resigned from the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition to pursue a new career enabling Vision Zero globally.
Action: Resolution for recognition of Leah Shahum.
