2. Introduction to Redistricting (Discussion) The RDTF will present an overview of redistricting and hear public comment regarding communities of interest. Karin MacDonald, Project Manager and Senior Redistricting Consultant for Q2 Data & Research, will lead the discussion.

3. Presentations by Past Task Force Members (Discussion)

4. Mapping (Discussion and possible action) The Task Force will begin to create draft maps reflecting possible changes to district lines.

5. Community Outreach (Discussion and possible action) The Task Force will discuss, and possibly vote upon, the schedule for future community outreach meetings.

6. Task Force Member Reports (Discussion) Individual members of the Task Force will report on their respective discussions with members of the public or public officials concerning the Task Force's future work.

7. Report from Legal Counsel (Discussion) The Deputy City Attorney will provide legal updates and/or respond to questions posed by the Task Force at prior meetings.

8. Approval of RDTF Minutes of November 15, 2011 (Discussion and possible action)

9. Public Comment: Members of the public may address the Redistricting Task Force on matters that are within the Task Force’s jurisdiction, but not on today’s agenda.

Public Comment

Public Comment will be taken before or during the Task Force’s consideration of each agenda item. Speakers may address the Task Force for up to three minutes on that item. During General Public Comment, members of the public may address the Task Force on matters that are within the Task Force’s jurisdiction and are not on the agenda.

The auditorium in Balboa High School is wheelchair accessible on Otesgo Avenue. The entrance to the auditorium is located on Onondaga Avenue. The closest accessible BART station is San Jose Avenue.
