VOTING SYSTEMS TASK FORCE MINUTES

1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The meeting was called to order by Task Force Chair Jody Sanford at 4:37 p.m.
Present: Roger Donaldson Jody Sanford Tim Mayer James Soper Beth Mazur Ka-Ping Yee Gregory Miller 2. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
By motion of Mr. Soper, seconded by Mr. Mayer, the minutes of the December 2, 2009 meeting were approved as written.
3. PUBLIC COMMENT
No members of the public were in attendance.
4. DISCUSSION OF VSTF WORK PLAN
The bulk of the meeting was used to discuss draft recommendations that VSTF members assembled for consideration for the Task Force’s final report, per Section 5.405 of the legislation establishing the Voting Systems Task Force. The discussion centered on organizing these draft recommendations under the five categories provided for in that legislation. The working draft of this effort will be posted on the VSTF website, and the January 20 will be used to continue this process.
