Empowerment Summit for Formerly Incarcerated Students and Families

Empowerment Summit

YOU ARE INVITED!

The 2 day summit will feature legal workshops & clinics focused on the needs of formerly incarcerated students and families, as well as workshops and panels on topics critical to successful reentry--employment, education, housing, cleaning up a record, and more.

In addition to programming, there will be tables full of information for formerly incarcerated people and their families,  a screening of the incredible film Life After Life, opportunities to network and build partnerships, as well as free food, entertainment and activities for kids!

Who should attend?

People directly impacted and their families as well as community advocates--social workers, case managers, educators, attorneys, employers, workforce development, and other members of the amazing Bay Area infrastructure who provide support!

We will leave this event stronger and more connected than ever, ready to overcome obstacles to reentry and create new opportunities across the Bay Area--together!
