Office of the Controller
The Consolidated Budget and Annual Appropriation Ordinance (AAO) and its accompanying schedules are produced by the Controller’s Budget Office. This is the document that is the legal authority for the City to spend funds during the fiscal year. The AAO contains information on the sources and uses of annually appropriated city funds detailed by department and by program. Additional schedules summarize city revenues and expenditures by service area, department and fund.
