II. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES
Action Item: the Committee voted to approve the minutes of the December 20, 2006 meeting of the State Legislation Committee.
III. PROPOSED LEGISLATION
Action items: the Committee voted to have the City take the following positions on state legislation affecting the City and County of San Francisco.
A. Bill number TBA (Leno): this draft legislation would increase CalWORKS funding available for work supports.

B. Department of Public Health State Legislative Plan: this plan summarizes key legislative priorities for the 2007-2008 state legislative session.
Position taken: tabled and returned to DPH for clarification of several items. This item will be considered at the next meeting of the State Legislation Committee.
C. Department of Environment State Legislative Plan: this plan summarizes key legislative priorities for the 2007-2008 state legislative session.
Position taken: Support
IV. SET REGULAR SCHEDULE FOR FUTURE COMMITTEE MEETINGS
Action Item: the Committee tentatively set the dates for future meetings as the third Wednesday of every month at 3:00pm in City Hall Rm. 288. The next Committee meeting will be February 21, pending finalization of the Board of Supervisors committee meeting schedule.
