A. SB 153 (Chesbro): to allow the state to issue bonds to improve public parks.

Recommended Position: Support

Film Commission

B. AB 777 (Nunez): to create tax incentives for film production in California.

Recommended Position: Support

Mayor's Office of Economic Development

C. SCA 15 (McClintock) and ACA 22 (La Malfa): to restrict use of eminent domain.

Recommended Position: Oppose this legislation and any other substantially similar legislation that fails to account for existing protections under CA law.

D. SB 703 (Machado): to allow a property owner (Assessee) to authorize another person (Payor) to pay property taxes of the Assessee in exchange for the transfer by the County Assessor to the Payor of t he lien for taxes, interest and penalties.
