- Update on Search for Director of Cultural Affairs
Commissioners discussed how best to interview out-of-town candidates. Commissioner Przyblyski noted that in-person interviews would allow a more comparable impression than a telephone interview. Ms. Renschler reported that there was money in the search budget for air travel to bring a few candidates into San Francisco, if needed, noting that there were some relatively inexpensive fares available. Commissioners agreed to meet on the afternoon of November 1 for further interviews.
Ms. Renschler said that her firm would do final checks of references and background once the field of candidates was further narrowed.
