The June 7, 2005 meeting of the Arts Task Force will be held at

    Action

    Consideration and possible action to nominate and elect a Vice-Chair of the Arts Task Force.

  5. Outreach Strategy
    Action

    Consideration and possible action to develop and implement public outreach campaign for the Arts Task Force.

  6. Presentation from the San Francisco Controller’s Office
    Action

    Presentation regarding the status of San Francisco’s Hotel Tax and the 2005-2006 budget. Consideration and possible action to issue a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors regarding the Hotel Tax and/or the budget for 2005-2006.

  7. Continued Discussion about San Francisco Arts Infrastructure
    Discussion

    Continuing discussion about the overall City legislative process of funds distribution infrastructure. This will include possible requests for more information and documentation.

  8. Outline Report
    Action

    Begin to identify a preliminary list of topic areas to be addressed in final “Task Force report and recommendations.”

  9. New Business
    Discussion

    Allows members to make announcements, introduce new agenda items for future consideration.

  10. Public Comment
    Discussion

    Members of the public may address the Arts Task Force on items within the jurisdiction of the Arts Task Force. Speakers may address the Task Force for up to three minutes; the Chair of the Task Force may limit the total comment to thirty minutes.

The ringing of and use of cell phones, pagers and similar sound-producing electronic devices are prohibited at this meeting. Please be advised that the President may order the removal from the meeting of any person(s) responsible for the ringing or use of cell phones, pagers, or other similar sound-producing electronic devices.
