    Action

    Discussion and consideration of possible action regarding making recommendations to the Board of Supervisors and the Mayor regarding the San Francisco Hotel Tax, the legal issues around allocations and future strategy. Specifically assess the Hotel Tax structure and process as it relates to the goals of the Task Force as set forth by Resolution 781-04.

    Action

    Ongoing process to draft report and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors and the Mayor. Begin to identify a list of topic areas to be addressed, create outline, etc.

  6. Continued Discussion about San Francisco Arts Infrastructure
    Discussion

    Continuing discussion about the overall legislative process of funds distribution infrastructure. This will include possible requests for more information or documentation.

    Action

    Ongoing: Further consideration and possible action to develop and implement public outreach campaign for the Arts Task Force.

    Discussion

    Allows members to make announcements, introduce new agenda items for future consideration.

    Discussion

    Members of the public may address the Arts Task Force on items within the jurisdiction of the Arts Task Force. Speakers may address the Task Force for up to three minutes; the Chair of the Task Force may limit the total comment to thirty minutes.
