      5. Action: Motion to approve the design of the Hidden Garden Steps project, a tile mural by Aileen Barr and Colette Crutcher on 16th Avenue and Kirkham Street. The mural is sponsored by the San Francisco Parks Alliance and supported by the Department of Public Works “Street Parks” program.

    Discussion

    Report by Public Relations Manager Kate Patterson, Arts Education Manager Tyra Fennell and Anna Blum of Code for America on the Arts Commission’s recent technology initiatives, including the Graff City iApp, which allows users to virtually “write” on objects, and a new website that identifies the location of publicly-sited artworks in the Civic Art Collection (see the app at http://sf.publicartapp.mobi/).
