This meeting is being held by teleconference pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20 and the Fifth Supplement to the Mayoral Proclamation Declaring the Existence of a Local Emergency. During the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) emergency, the Arts Commission’s regular meeting room is closed. Meetings of the Arts Commission will convene remotely.

The public is encouraged to submit comments by emailing to email@example.com. This email address will be monitored until Friday, September 4, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. All comments received by the deadline will be read aloud by Arts Commission staff for up to the three minutes maximum allotted time given to each commenter. In the subject line of your email, indicate the meeting date and item number. If you do not specify an agenda item number, your emailed public comment will be read under general public comment. Note: if your public comment statement is read aloud by Arts Commission staff during an agenda item, this will count as your one opportunity for public comment on that specific item. You will not be able to raise your hand to make additional public comment on the same item if your statement has already been read aloud.
Public comment in regard to specific agenda items will be taken before or during consideration of the item. Each speaker may speak for up to three minutes per agenda item, unless the Chair has announced a different length of time at the beginning of the meeting. Speakers may not transfer their time to another person. Any person speaking during a public comment period may supply a written summary of their comments to be included in the minutes if it is 150 words or less.

FOLLOWING THE CLOSED SESSION, THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE ARTS COMMISSION WILL RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION.
c. Following the Closed Session, the Executive Committee of the Arts Commission will report on any action taken during the Closed Session and will consider a motion regarding whether to disclose any part of the discussions during Closed Session.

The San Francisco Arts Commission Executive Committee will be held virtually due to public health emergency.

1. Agenda items will normally be heard in order. Please note, that on occasion a special circumstance may necessitate that an agenda item be taken out of order. To ensure that an agenda item is not missed, it is advised to arrive at the beginning of the meeting. All agenda changes will be announced by the Chair at the top of the meeting.

Additionally, every effort will be made to provide a sound enhancement system, meeting materials in alternative formats, and/or a reader.
