Chair Collins called the meeting to order at 2:32 p.m.

    Staff Present:
    Alyssa Ventre

    Chair Collins shared virtual meeting instructions.

    Commission Secretary Ventre announced public comment instructions.

    There was no public comment.

     
  3. Nomination of Candidates
    (6:15)

    Chair Collins provided an overview of the Nomination process. Chair Collins noted that there will be a subsequent Nominating Committee meeting to nominate candidates. He explained that their recommendation will then be heard at the December full Commission meeting.

    Commissioners discussed their roles in the Nominating Committee process. Chair Collins recommended that, in addition to interviewing the commissioners, the committee also interview staff members Ralph Remington, Joanne Lee, Rachelle Axel, and Alyssa Ventre along with Tyra Fennell from the Mayor’s Office. He shared the committee assignments with his fellow committee members. 

    Commissioners continued to discuss the process and Commission Secretary Ventre proposed the next meeting for Friday, November 19 at 1p.

    There was no public comment.
