· Update regarding Rhesus lab monkeys from UCSF sent to rescue
· Governer Schwarzenegger signed the Antitethering Bill, SB 1578 (Lowenthal). This makes California the first state in the country to outlaw the stationary tethering (chaining) of dogs for a period exceeding three hours.
