Follow-up report by Commissioner Hamilton and discussion regarding a proposal to seek city funding for the production and mounting of permanent public signs deterring the abandonment of pet cats/kittens in areas where this is commonly done and directing pet owners/guardians to Animal Care and Control instead.

a.     A discussion to develop legislation that would include and protect animals in domestic violence cases.

Discussion and comprehensive narrative of new calendar submissions will take place during the next meeting. Commissioners need to follow-up on their calendar item submissions via email to the Chair at least one week in advance of the next monthly meeting.

There is accessible parking at the following locations: two (2) designated blue curb spaces on the southwest corner of McAllister Street at Van Ness Avenue; the Performing Arts Garage (entrance on Grove Street between Franklin and Gough Streets), and at Civic Center Plaza Garage. 

 

The following services are available upon request at least two working days prior to the meeting: American Sign Language interpreters, use of a reader during a meeting, or a sound enhancement system.
