AGENDA


 



  1. Assign/modify time slots for agenda items [3 min] **

  5. Casey (BAC Chair) relayed a request from Mr. Tannen (DPT) to include an approval of Cabrillo Bike Lanes in the Richmond from Arguello to Ocean, which was passed at the last general committee meeting. [7 min]
  6. Resolution regarding bike tolls on the GG bridge was approved pending rewrite (See documents)
  7. A motion by Nino for consensus on asking the BOS for new members failed. Nino and Casey will lobby BOS to accept new applications (see minutes).
  8. An explanation of the rules and regulations regarding posting the BAC agenda in adherence to the Sunshine Ordinance (see documents & include Peter Tannen's email).
  9. Explanation of revised procedures for communicating the agenda and modifications to incorrect "boiler plate" information added by DPT.
  10. Chuck Regal, upon invitation from Nino (BAC Vice Chair), from Community Boards spent 2 hours giving a presentation during the working committee and followed up with a short presentation at the General committee. Since our group dynamic was described as healthy (as opposed to unhealthy) should we move ahead to accept the offer to work with us on mediation (pending the arrival of new members)? [15 min]
  11. All responsibilities for printing out the finished the brochures belong to Nino Parker [2 min]**
  12. Resolution asking for bike racks at all MUNI bus and metro stops- Casey (Review)[10 min] **
  13. Resolution to request new appointments for 4 vacant chairs Greg Hayes (see Supporting Documents) [10 min] **
  14. Resolution concerning the public use of the bike room at City Hall- This is permanently on hold per Marc's request at the 2nd to the last general meeting [0 min] **

The Mission Police Station’s meeting room at Valencia St. at 17th St. is wheelchair accessible. Large print copies of the agenda, sign language interpreters, or assistive listening systems can be made available by contacting the DPT staff liaison, Peter S. The 16th Street BART station is located at 16th and Mission Streets. Accessible bus lines include Muni’s 12-Folsom, 14-Mission, 26-Valencia, 53-Southern Heights, and SamTrans 391-Palo Alto/San Francisco bus lines. For information about MUNI accessible services, please call (415) 923-6142.Off-street parking is available at 16th and Hoff Streets Garage. Please note that the 16th and Hoff Streets Garage does not provide for van access. Blue zones are located on 16th Street, just west of Valencia Street (1 space), and in the police station parking lot on the 17th Street side of the building (1 space).
