9.      MARKET/OCTAVIA INTERSECTION –A bicyclist was seriously injured on Monday, January 22 by a truck driver making an illegal right turn onto the I-101 freeway, the latest in a pattern of motorist-induced injuries to pedestrians and bicyclists. 
Action: Status of Recommendations by MTA for mitigation of right turns from Market St. Eastbound

10.  TRAFFIC CALMING TREATMENTS – Traffic calming devices benefit cyclists in reducing the speed differential with vehicles.  Although bike lanes are not officially recognized as traffic calming devices, they are recognized as having a calming effect.  Other devices may require design modifications to accommodate cyclist safety. Such devices as traffic humps, speed cushions and choker islands may require modifications to accommodate cyclist safety.

11.  BICYCLE PLAN - ENFORCEMENT Discussion of recommended actions required of law enforcement to comply with the San Francisco Policy Framework, Chapter 6. Possible establishment of a task force to work with the SFPD to implement the required actions.
