    a. Bike Theft and Security  - SFBC presentation on their Bike Theft Task Force
    Action: Introduction and continuance to a special meeting TBA

    b. Bicycle Planning for Environmental Standards - Review of Street Design and Maintenance Standards for bicycle facilities and potential legislative reform of environmental analysis criteria.
    Action: Introduction and continuance to a special meeting end of March or April

    c. Colored Bike Lanes - The BAC, SFBC and DPT should frame the issues and suggestions, so that DPT can send them to the CTCDC.
    Action: Assign subcommittee to recommend a Resolution in the March meeting

    d. BART/MUNI Ventilation Grate Replacement - Problem: Some of the ventilation grates pose a serious danger to the safety of cyclists and should be replaced as soon as possible.
    Action: Introduction and assignment of subcommittee for recommendations on budget and schedule

    e. HES (Hazard Elimination Safety) Federal Grants - Suggestion: Traffic signal at Page and Stanyan Streets. Grant information at http://www.sfcta.org/Funding/TLCPage.htm
    Action: Solicit input

    f. TFCA (Transportation Fund for Clean Air) GRANTS - Suggestion: Bike lanes on Conservatory Drive East; San Jose Avenue Ramps, Cesar Chavez Street (Hwy. 101 to I-280 Townsend Street (west of 4th Street), Yosemite Avenue/Bay Trail. Grant information at http://www.sfcta.org/Funding/TLCPage.htm
    Action: Solicit input

    g. Bicycles on Third Street Rail - MUNI expects to begin testing this summer and begin revenue service this fall. Bicycle access should be allowed on these LRVs on Third Street and included in the testing, per the Policy Framework.
    Action: Resolution

    h. Folding Bicycles on MUNI - MUNI's current web policy prohibits all bikes from being brought onto MUNI vehicles. This policy should be modified to allow folding bicycles on all MUNI vehicles, in conformance with standard policies in comparable transit systems locally and nationally.

    i. Broadway Tunnel Extinguishable Sign - BAC approval of final design, to be presented at the meeting.
    Action: Resolution

    j. Shared Lane Marking (`Sharrows') - Caltrans is very close to finalizing the language for the shared lane markings. Work-orders will be submitted to the Paint Shop soon so they can begin installing the markings.
    Action: Final comments.

    k. MUNI Tail Cards for Sharrow Campaign- Review of design

    l. Eastbound Fourteenth Street Bike Lane (Market to Delores Streets) - Due to unanticipated neighborhood opposition at the DPT Friday public hearing to converting this street from two-way to one-way operation, Supervisor Dufty scheduled a special community meeting February 23, 6p.m. in the Castro Community Room at 501 Castro Street at 18th Street (above the Sunglass Hut. DPT staff will make a presentation giving background and discussing the pros and cons of the two options studied (conversion to one-way or lane removal). BAC support is needed at this meeting.
    Action: Resolution

    m. Network Improvement Document - The second part of the Bike Plan Update will continue the implementation of the network across the city. We will be receiving public comments throughout the month of February 2005 (http://www.bicycle.sfgov.org/site/dptbike_index.asp?id=29438)

Room 408 of City Hall is wheelchair accessible. The closest accessible BART Station is Civic Center, three blocks from City Hall. Accessible MUNI lines serving this location are: #47 Van Ness, and the #71 Haight/Noriega and the F Line to Market and Van Ness and the Metro stations at Van Ness and Market and at Civic Center. There is accessible parking in the vicinity of City Hall at Civic Center Plaza and adjacent to Davies Hall and the War Memorial Complex.
