          6.           New bike path in SOMA [5 min] **
w Consideration of a resolution urging the Port to include a new bicycle path, primarily off-street, through the soon-to-be-redeveloped Pier 70 complex. This path might leave Illinois St. near 18th and rejoin Illinois St. at some point south of 22nd. The inclusion of such a path would alleviate problems connected with increased auto, truck, rail, and streetcar traffic on both 3rd St. (Bike Route 5) and Illinois St. (Bay Trail).

7.           Bike Plan update [20 min] **
w Possibly revise wording of resolution passed 2/21 re: development of CEQA-specific Bike LOS in the Bike Plan
w Clarification of which members are working to condense BAC comments on Bike Plan into a report for DPT, and when that work will be finished .
w Clarification of whether (and which) members are needed to work with SFBC to develop Bike Network recommendations
w SFBAC oversight of Bike Plan contractor. Possible letter for approval.
w Implementation strategies for Bike Plan revisions (working with Planning Dept., TA, and DPT)

Off-street parking is available at 16th and Hoff Streets Garage. Please note that the 16th and Hoff Streets Garage does not provide for van access.
Blue zones are located on 16th Street, just west of Valencia Street (one space) and in the police station parking lot on the 17th Street side of the building (one space).
