Policies and Procedures for the BAC Agenda

  1. In accordance with the Sunshine Ordinance and information communicated via Peter Tannen, City Attorneys Edward Olsen and Dorji Roberts the BAC agenda must be posted in the following locations no later than 72 hours before a meeting:
    1. Outside the BAC meeting room (City Hall Room 408)
    2. At the DPT office
    3. At the Government documents section
    4. On the BAC Website at http://www.ci.sf.ca.us/bac
  2. The BAC Correspondence secretary will be responsible for items a, c and d in step 1.
  3. DPT will receive a copy of the complete BAC document containing the following corrected "boiler plate" information:
    1. The Topica site is no longer used for discussions which are available via the following link: http://pub86.ezboard.com/bsfbac.
    2. Active links referencing where Citizens interested in obtaining a free copy of the Sunshine Ordinance have been added for http://www.ci.sf.ca.us/bdsupvrs/sunshine.htm.
    3. Active links referencing where Persons from the public may inspect documents referred to on the agenda have been added for the BAC website at http://www.ci.sf.ca.us/bac.
    4. Archives of SFBAC discussions are no longer available at http://www.topica.com/lists/SFBAC/read. A new non-moderated public forum has been established on http://pub86.ezboard.com/bsfbac.
  4. Since anyone who has access to email will be able to access the BAC website, there is no longer any need to go through the process of emailing the agenda to everyone. From this date forward every member of the BAC and the general public will be responsible for obtaining their own hard copy of the BAC agenda before the meeting by
    1. requesting a copy from the public library ,
    2. waiting for the DPT copy to arrive in the mail or
    3. printing the agenda off of the BAC website.
  5. All related documents letters or correspondence can be found on the BAC website (http://www.ci.sf.ca.us/bac) under the Meetings link in either the Agenda, Minutes or Supporting Documents sections.
  6. The agenda for the BAC Working Committee meeting and any minutes from the previous meeting will be posted on the BAC website and distributed to the Public Library and DPT within 5-7 days after the General Committee meeting. Any requests for agenda items should be communicated through the BAC Chair Casey Allen. In the event you can not get in touch with the chair the request should be communicated by email to both of the addresses Qbase7@pacbell.net and (cc) Qbase7@lycos.com within 3-5 days after the General Committee Meeting.
  7. The agenda, minutes and supporting documents for the next BAC Working Committee meeting will be distributed (via the steps described in items 1-4) and posted on the BAC website before Monday 07/29/2002.
  8. In the event DPT experiences a loss of email service or connectivity, the Agendas will always be posted on the BAC website and emailed to the SF Public Library prior to being emailed to DPT. Please reference the BAC website under the Meetings link to obtain a copy of the agendas for posting and distribution by postal mail.
