6. Bike Plan update [20 min]
w Assignment of member/s to produce report outlining changes to the Bike Plan
w Assignment of members to coordinate with SFBC and come up with Bike Route changes
w Discussion of whether the development of level of service standards should be included in the Bike Plan; and whether the Bike Plan should be integrated with the Congestion Management Program

7.          Assignment of members to serve as liaisons to different supervisor’s offices, mayor’s office, SFPD, etc. [10 min]

w Consideration of letter from SFBAC to Frank Hamdun (ED of DPT) concerning ladder striping at all intersection on high traffic, high speed corridors such as Nineteenth; Lombard; Van Ness and South Van Ness; and Geary.
w Consideration of letter from SFBAC to Kevin Shelley concerning a serious effort to educate drivers about the dangers of driving while using a cell phone.

11. Discussion of proposed resolution calling for increased and dedicated funding so that the DA’s office to might better manage cases involving bicyclists and pedestrians. [10 min]

12. Further action that the BAC might take on Chris Robertson case [3 min]

13.          Better Neighborhoods 2000 - update and possible action [1 min]

14.          San Francisco Welfare to Work programs. Might increased access/funding for bicycle commuting help Welfare to Work recipients get to jobs, child care, etc.? Possible report from Pi Ra or Jean Davis (per Dec. assignment). Investigation of tie-ins or renewed distributions from Yellow Bike Program. [1 min]

15.          Golden Gate Park Concourse and nearby parking disposition. Review of recent plans, initiatives from the Concourse Authority, Sierra Club, Joint Transportation Committee, etc. Possible action. [5 min]

16.          Discussion of avenues by which the BAC might approach the SF Unified School District, with the goal of opening dialogue leading to a more bike-friendly schools policy (Casey Allen). [2 min]

17. Topics to be placed on next month’s agendas. [4 min]

18. Brief review of which member is responsible for each project/task in next month. [4 min]

The Mission Police Station’s meeting room at Valencia St. at 17th St. is wheelchair accessible. Sign language interpreters can be made available by contacting the DPT staff liaison, Peter S. Off-street parking is available at 16th and Hoff Streets Garage. Please note that the 16th and Hoff Streets Garage does not provide for van access.

Blue zones are located on 16th Street, just west of Valencia Street (one space) and in the police station parking lot on the 17th Street side of the building (one space).
