4. CAO Update
a. Discussion on proposed legislation Sponsored by Supervisor Jane Kim. Bobbi Lopez (Legislative Aide to Supervisor Kim) spoke on the item and listened to Committee feedback.

5. Presentation by Community Liaisons [Discussion]
a. Twitter: Represented by Caroline Barlerin
i. Mrs. Barlerin discussed Twitter’s on going work with many neighborhood organizations like Compass Family Services, Catholic Charities, and the Tenderloin Technology Lab at St. Anthony’s Foundation.
b. Spotify:
i. In addition to some of their key partners History Through Hip Hop, TL Boys & Girls Club. Spotify is continuing to build and make sure they have a solid relationships with their key partners. They are working on an event with HHH that will create an opportunity for the youth to meet an interact more with the Spotify employees as well as a chance for all to come together and learn in a safe space.
c. Zoosk: Represented by Pratibha Guha
i. Mrs. Guha reported on their continual relationship Episcopal Community Services.
ii. The company recently started to offer monthly walking tours of the Tenderloin with Del Seymour. This has connected the company and its staff more with neighborhood.
d. Zendesk: Represented by Megan Trotter
i. Mrs. Trotter reported on the work Zendesk has done in the community with continued support of DeMarilac Academy, Curry Senior Center and St. Anthony’s Foundation.
e. Microsoft / Yammer: Represented by Cristina Fink
i. Microsoft has continued its support Year Up and providing an additional intern and hosted a number of events for De Marillac Academy, Project Homeless Connect, and Compass Family Services.
ii. Staff at Microsoft have been working closely with Project Homeless Connect on helping connect individuals to the correct resources through technology.
f. Market on Market: Represented by Michael Cohen
i. Mr. Cohen presented for the first time and reviewed the goals of Market on Markets CBA.
ii. He also discussed the issues ground floor retail stores are having in the area.
g. Fitness SF Mid Market:
i. The company provided a statement reviewing their CBA agreement and their continued support of organization in the area.

8. General Public Comment
a. At this time, members of the public may address the Citizens Advisory Committee on items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Committee but do not appear on the agenda. With respect to agenda items, the public will be given an opportunity to address the Committee when the item is reached in the meeting. Each member of the public may address the Committee for up to three minutes. The Brown Act forbids a Committee from taking action or discussing any item not appearing on the posted agenda, including those items raised at Public Comment. In response to public comment on an item that is not on the agenda, the Committee is limited to: briefly responding to statements made or questions posed by members of the public, or requesting staff to report back on a matter at a subsequent meeting, or directing staff to place the item on a future agenda. (Government Code Section 54954.2(a).)

c. Ideas from companies on what should be talked about in the future (December Meeting)

10. Committee Members’ Comments and Announcements
a. Chair Rob Gitin announces he is stepping down as Chair and would like a vote of the Committee for his replacement at the next meeting.

City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B Goodlett Place, is between Grove and McAllister Streets and is wheelchair accessible. The closest BART and MUNI Metro Station is Civic Center, about three blocks away. Accessible MUNI lines nearest City Hall are: 42 Downtown Loop, 49 Van Ness-Mission and F-Market & MUNI Metro (Civic Center Station). There is accessible parking available in the vicinity of City Hall.
