1. Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 10:05 a.m.

Present: District Attorney’s Office; Police Department; City Administrator’s Office; Adult Probation Department; Public Defender’s Office; Superior Court
Absent: Department of Emergency Management; Mayor’s Office; Juvenile Probation Department; Department on the Status of Women; Department of Technology; Sheriff’s Department

2. Adoption of Agenda - Action Item

The agenda for the January 28, 2016 meeting was adopted.

3. Adoption of Meeting Minutes - Action Item

The minutes for the December 3, 2015 meeting were adopted.

4. Executive Sponsor Update: City Administrator's Office – Discussion

JUSTIS production is now operating out of 1011 Turk Street. The Superior Court will Co-Chair the JUSTIS Council. At the next JUSTIS council meeting, the City Administrator’s Office intends to discuss the impacts of departments running case management systems outside of the JUSTIS environment. The JUSTIS budget is being drafted.

5. Technical Steering Committee Update - Discussion

The JUSTIS team is now focused on optimizing the speed performance of the JUSTIS environment. The Oracle upgrade is being tested. The team is also working on self-service passwords management in Active Directory.

6. Case Management System Updates – Discussion

Juvenile Probation
Not present.

District Attorney
The CMS committee had previously requested that JUSTIS work on developing an alternative to the printed Court Calendars. The JUSTIS team will provide an update on the amount of time this would require at the next Council meeting.

Public Defender
Nothing to report.

Police Department
Nothing to report.

Sheriff's Department
Not present.

Adult Probation
The Adult Probation Department upgraded to the new version of COMPAS, which includes a new reporting tool that they plan to use.

Superior Court
The Court is working on development issues with their new Traffic Court system. Their vendor, Thompson Reuters, has done an initial high-level assessment of the CMS data.
