1. Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 9:30 a.m.

Present: District Attorney’s Office; Police Department; City Administrator’s Office; Adult Probation Department; Public Defender’s Office; Superior Court; Department of Technology; Sheriff’s Department
Absent: Department of Emergency Management; Mayor’s Office; Juvenile Probation Department; Department on the Status of Women

2. Adoption of Agenda - Action Item
The agenda for the September 24, 2015 meeting was adopted.
3. Adoption of Meeting Minutes - Action Item
The minutes for the August 27, 2015 meeting were adopted.
4. Executive Sponsor Update: City Administrator's Office – Discussion
City Administrator’s Office staff presented an update on the JUSTIS project to the COIT Budget and Planning Subcommittee on September 4th and to the San Francisco Sentencing Commission on September 23rd. There will be one JUSTIS Council meeting held in November and December, on December 3rd. JUSTIS is continuing to work with the Department of Technology on moving JUSTIS production to 1011 Turk Street.
5. Technical Steering Committee Update - Discussion

The network connection for the new production environment at Turk Street has been set up. The JUSTIS team is working with the District Attorney’s Office and their vendor on completing the XML schema. The team is also setting up the Active Directory and the CORI application auditing. The Department of Technology made network changes without alerting departments that resulted in the District Attorney’s Office and Sheriff’s Department losing connectivity to their applications. DT is going to look into the notification process.

6. Case Management System Updates – Discussion

Juvenile Probation
Not present.
District Attorney
The DA’s Office is working with their vendor to complete the XML for the integration of DAMION and the JUSTIS Hub. The District Attorney’s Office is evaluating the use of LiveScan statue table as part of their portion of the JUSTIS charge table.
Public Defender
Nothing to report.
Police Department
The Police department will not be able to support any JUSTIS efforts.
Sheriff's Department
The Sheriff’s Department is still unable to move from version 9 to version 10.2 of the New Worlds Systems software.
Adult Probation
The Adult Probation Department is using the Supervised Release File. They are also piloting the CA DOJ Smart Justice mobile application for 60 days.
Superior Court
The Superior Court will switch to the new Traffic Court system on October 5th.
