1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL, INTRODUCTIONS

The meeting was called to order by City staff, Jill Lerner at 3:35 p.m.

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM MAY 14, 2008
By motion of Mr. Oldag and second by Mr. Huntting, the Minutes from May 14, 2008 were approved.

3.   APPROVAL OF BY-LAWS
By motion of Mr. Oldag and second by Ms. Owen, the by-laws were approved.

4. DISCUSSION OF ISSUES WORKING GROUP MAY CONSIDER IN FUTURE MEETINGS
There was a discussion and brainstorming session of broad topics as well as specific issues that the Working Group may address in future meetings.  The discussion was continued to the next meeting and no action was taken.

5. REQUEST FOR RESEARCH

By motion of Mr. Ballesteros and Ms. Mueller and second by Mr. Oldag, an official request was made to Ms. Force of the OLA to research different legislative procedures that have been implemented across the nation to mitigate the mortgage crisis.  Cities include Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Durham, New York City, and Ohio.

6. ADJOURNMENT

By motion of Mr. Oldag and second by Ms. Owen, the meeting was adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
