People residing within the boundaries of the City and County as established in Government Code Section 23138 but not on the San Francisco Peninsula or Alcatraz, Yerba Buena and Treasure Islands shall be deemed for the purpose of supervisorial elections to reside in the supervisorial district on the Peninsula closest to the person"s place of residence.

Unless specifically designated to the contrary, all references to streets, boulevards, drives, avenues, terraces and ways contained in the foregoing descriptions shall refer to the centerlines of said streets, boulevards, drives, avenues, terraces and ways, respectively.
