  1. Call to Order

    The meeting was called to order at 10:10 a.m.
    Present City Administrator’s Office; Adult Probation; District Attorney; Police; Public Defender; Sheriff; Superior Court; DT; JUS.T.I.S.
    Absent: Emergency Management; Juvenile Probation; Department on Status of Women
     
  1. Adoption of Agenda - Action Item
    The agenda for the July 28th, 2016 meeting was adopted.
     
  2. Adoption of Meeting Minutes - Action Item
    The minutes for the May 26, 2016 meeting were adopted.
     
  3. Executive Sponsor Update: City Administrator's Office – Discussion
    Oracle12C migration status.
    JUS.T.I.S. Budget remains intact
    Project line-up priority: Courts, Fail Over, Body Camera.
    JUS.T.I.S. analyst (1824) leaving City employment.
     
  4. Technical Steering Committee Update - Discussion
    The Oracle 12C migration: Part 1 Database completed on June 11th. Part 2 Software (SOA Suite) date to be determined.Recent support issues caused by network intermittent failure between JUS.T.I.S. and DT mainframe.VM performance dashboard is rolling out to departments (one admin per dept).Sheriff’s JMS 10.2 upgrade and fix, waiting response from vendor.Meeting with Courts and vendor on July 7th.JUS.T.I.S. solution to resolve Police & ID Bureau’s dependency on transactions in CABLE3.Deploy JUS.T.I.S. applications with the City’s Active Directory (authentication, role/department profile, auditing).
     
  5. Case Management System Updates – Discussion

    Department on the Status of Women
    Not present.

    Juvenile Probation
    Not present.

    District Attorney
    Collecting requirements on court calendar from the business side.  Data submits to DOJ on behalf of DA  (where to, what element, what transaction, how often).

    Public Defender
    Nothing to report.

    Police Department
    Data submits to DOJ on behalf of Police Department (where to, who commissioned, what element, how often).  By 2017, Police plans to no longer use arrest data from CMS but from Police’s Incident System.  Needs from ID Bureau, scenarios about Disposition. (JUS.T.I.S. is currently documenting CABLE3 derived fields).  Clarification from DOJ in collecting arrest stats. based on statute BCS, and Police Department’s concern.  eCitation interface with Court – XML schema, image (signature only), and PDF (official citation generated not stored). To be rolled out in October via JUS.T.I.S.

    Sheriff's Department
    The Sheriff’s Department is still working on upgrading their New Worlds System software to version 10.2.

    Adult Probation
    Court calendar requirement, by end of July.  QPRO to be finalized by next month, testing interface with JUS.T.I.S.  Daily and monthly reports (list, when available).

    Superior Court
    Meeting with vendor (Thomson Reuter) and JUS.T.I.S. on July 7th. CMS data mapping to be completed in July.
