  1. Call to Order
    The meeting was called to order at 10:07 a.m.
    Present City Administrator’s Office; Mayor’s Office; Adult Probation; District Attorney; Police; Public Defender; Superior Court; JUS.T.I.S.
    Absent: Sheriff; COIT; Emergency Management; Juvenile Probation; Department on Status of Women
     
  2. Adoption of Agenda - Action Item
    The agenda for the September 22th, 2016 meeting was adopted.
     
  3. Adoption of Meeting Minutes - Action Item
    To be distributed and reviewed on September 22nd.
     
  4. Executive Sponsor Update: City Administrator's Office – Discussion
    Upcoming meeting with Sheriff and vendor.Meeting in September: Mayor, City Administrator & Department Heads to discuss data sharing (justice data, all data, roles of Mayor’s Chief Data Officer & JUS.T.I.S).The Principal Administrative Analyst (#1824) position is posted.
     
  5. Technical Steering Committee Update - Discussion
    Statute for 2015 Legislature implemented (Police’s approval to include 20 statutes with no BCS).Courts & vendor meeting with follow-up on business & interface processes. Need testing & GOLIVE timeline. Pending options depend on whether or not writing data back to CMS.JUS.T.I.S. web base solution for CMS report replacement (along with department’s case management system own reporting).JUS.T.I.S. web base solution for Police’s Level-II emulation to mainframe transactions in CABLE3 (conditional output).DOSW – all works on hold.Adult Probation QPRO/QRAP data interface.Oracle 12c migration – part 2 (App server upgrade) - possible testing alternative to bypass Sheriff’s JMS 10.2 test environment dependency.City AD to test and implement JUS.T.I.S. web base applications. Test accounts to be created in Sheriff & Public Defender’s OU.Network connectivity for other non-City justice partners needs to be considered (Courts, CAL, DOJ, UCSFPOL, …). Network environment might change when DT’s mainframe to be hosted by the state.VM performance dashboard is rolling out to departments to monitor their VM environment (SAN dashboard only available in an aggregate level).Discussed Juvenile Probation data sharing with Court and DA.
     
  6. Case Management System Updates – Discussion

    Department on the Status of Women
    Not present.

    Juvenile Probation
    Not present.

    District Attorney
    DA is reviewing DOJ’s Livescan statutes and Probation registration statutes.Request JUS.T.I.S. to host a meeting between DA and Court to assess impact and changes when Court goes live.

    Public Defender
    PDR is working with JUSTIS team to fine-tune the interface processes (scenarios, record management, auditing).

    Police Department
    Looking into a Level-II Proof of Concept – QCX. Cost.eCitation currently on hold (top priority is eSTOP). Interface with Court will be via JUS.T.I.S. sending data and citation image (PDF).XML reference links to common object store. Data structure is mostly final (except warrant). MOU to be modified if necessary.

    Sheriff's Department
    Not present.

    Adult Probation
    APD will send QPRO data this week.Testing on the data & virtual environment backup (Cloud) – Go live next month.

    Superior Court
    Meetings with vendor - Criminal module business process, API for JUS.T.I.S. interface, gap analysis, project timeline, deployment. Court calendar and ad hoc reporting tool – examples to share with departments.Courts to have a Juvenile Probation meeting - data and network (DT/ports)
