From 100A VEAM outlets we have 15 adapters to the J Type Cam-Locks. We also have 4 sets of adapter cables and distribution boxes from the VEAM outlets to Edison outlets.

Room Dimensions & Capacities
Rotunda

• The Main Floor of the Rotunda is approximately 75" by 75".
• Room surfaces consist of marble floors, stone and glass walls and a plaster dome.
• Entry to Rotunda via Polk Street and Van Ness Avenue vestibules.
• The landing on the Grand Staircase is 4"0" above the Main Floor level. It is 4"6" deep, and 20"0" wide.
• Capacity for the Rotunda (including the Second Floor) ranges from 642 at seated dinners to 1,240 for standing receptions.

North Light Court

• The North Light Court has approximately 122"6" by 57"5"clear floor area and 19" to 22" ceilings.
• Free standing historic counters run along the North walls of the space.
• Room surfaces consist of marble floors, area rugs, stone and glass walls, and a glass laylight ceiling with wood and plaster cornices.
• Entry to the North Light court via the Rotunda or McCallister Street vestibule.
• Capacity for the North Light Court ranges from 435 at seated dinners to 870 for standing receptions.

South Light Court

• The South Light Court has approximately 122"6" by 57"05" gross floor area and 19" to 22" ceilings.
• Room surfaces consist of marble floors, wall to wall carpet, stone and glass walls, and a glass laylight ceiling with wood and plaster cornices.
• Entry to the South Light Court via the Rotunda or Grove Street vestibule.
• Capacity for the South Light Court ranges from 420 at seated dinners to 840 for standing receptions.

**Events with occupant loads exceeding these amounts will require Fire Department approval and/or Fire Inspection standby

Freight Elevator Dimensions & Capacities
There are 3 freight elevators located at the basement level of City Hall. They exit into the Polk Street vestibule on the Main Floor. Each elevator is 6"02" by 4"05" and can accommodate 2,000 pounds of equipment. There is also one hydraulic elevator located in the North Light Court that can be accessed from the basement level near the McAllister Street vestibule. This elevator exits near the kitchen prep area in the North Light Court. This elevator is 6"06" by 4"02" and can accommodate 2,500 pounds of equipment.

Rotunda
There are floor inserts at the Fourth Floor Gallery and the Colonnade. Please contact the Building Manager for detailed loading criteria.

North Light Court
In wood beam elements, 20 points with Working Load Limit of 4,000 pounds vertical load. Use of these points requires bridling of rigging due to lighting fixtures proximity with rigging points. In plaster cornice at perimeter 18 points with Working Load Limit of 500 pounds vertical load. Swivel hoist rings are installed at these points.

South Light Court
In wood beam elements, 20 points with Working Load Limit of 4,000 pounds vertical load. Use of these points requires bridling of rigging due to lighting fixtures proximity with rigging points. In plaster cornice at perimeter, 18 points with Working Load Limit of 500 pounds vertical load. Swivel hoist rings are installed at these points.

Handicap Accessibility
San Francisco City Hall meets all state requirements for ADA accessibility. Please call the Building Supervisor for detailed specifications.

Fire Alarm System
San Francisco City Hall is equipped and monitored by complex fire alarm systems which include smoke, heat and linear beam detectors. In the event that the fire alarm system is activated during an event all "event
power" is disabled. Re-setting of "event power" can only be done by City Hall Building Staff.

Sound, Video Systems & Press Facilities
The Rotunda, South Light Court, and North Light Court are capable of delivering sound signals to each other via facility panels. There are 20 facility panels located throughout the building. City Hall has two fully functional sound system racks to provide sound for events. These systems can accommodate up to 150 to 200 people in North Light Court, South Light Court, and Rotunda. If your group is larger than 200 in the Rotunda, we can also provide 8 speakers with 4 power amps to accommodate your sound needs.
