Director to extend Rule 113, Section 113.2.2 for an additional six months, through December 31, 2001, upon agreement with the affected employee organizations. Commissioner Casper noted that his assent expresses no opinion with regards to the statements made in the memoranda from the Department of Human Resources on the broader certification rules and their affect on Equal Employment Opportunity for the San Francisco Fire Department. Commissioner Casper indicated he was still being educated and remained open on the application of broader certification rules applicable to the Uniformed Ranks of the San Francisco Fire Department. Kate Favetti, Executive Officer noted that Rules 113 and 413 did not affect the
Uniformed Ranks of the San Francisco Fire Department. (Vote of 3 to 0)
