Minutes of Special Meeting - Closed Session

I. The Special Meeting convened at 1:22 p.m.

Present: Commissioner Donald A. Casper

Commissioner Adrienne Pon

Commissioner Linda Richardson

Commissioner Rosabella Safont

Excused: Commissioner Morgan R. Gorrono

Commissioner Casper presided.

I. Public comment on all matters appearing on the Special Meeting Agenda Session.

None.

II. Vote on whether to hold closed session to confer with the designated labor negotiator (San Francisco Administrative Code Section 67.10 (e). (Action Item)

Action: The Commission voted to conduct a closed session.

(Vote of 4 to 0)

Closed Session started at 1:25 a.m. in City Hall, Room 400 and the following were present:

A) CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR

Closed session ended at 2:29 p.m.

I. Reconvened in open session at 2:30 p.m.

A) Vote to elect whether to disclose any or all discussions held in closed session (San Francisco Administrative Code Section 67.12 (b)(5).) (Vote of 4 to 0)

Action: Post for meet and confer, amendments to CSC Rule 05 Series - Section 05.12.1 to extend by close of business on the fifth (5th) day, appeals received by the Executive Officer on examination matters; and, where notification is sent to the appellant exclusively by certified mail - return receipt requested, the appeal period is extended an additional five (5) working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays). (Vote of 3 to 1; Commissioner Richardson dissents.)

I. General Public Comment on Any Matter Within the Subject Matter Jurisdiction of the Civil Service Commission.
