REQUEST TO SPEAK ON ANY MATTER WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION

   

Kevin Barry, Stationary Engineers, Local 39 along with Dave Copeland, requested review of the referral process for Chief Stationary Engineers (Job Code 7252) and Mr. Copeland being put on waiver.

   

Chris Bowman spoke on civil service protection of employees appointed by the Department of Elections and allegations that the Elections Commission interfered in the administration of the Department of Elections in the termination of the Director of Elections. Mr. Bowman also requested to
allow the appeal of Tammy Haygood to be heard by the Civil Service Commission and that the Civil Service Commission, pursuant to Prop E (2001), obtain outside legal counsel.
