(A) MICRO and SMALL size economic thresholds are available for all three certification types offered by the SF Contract Monitoring Division (ie. LBE, PUC-LBE and NPE certifications);

(B) MICRO and SMALL size LBE, PUC-LBE and NPE certified firms are entitled to a 10% bid discount in City contracting; and

(C) MICRO and SMALL size LBE, PUC-LBE and NPE certified firms that are certified as of a bid due date can be used to meet CMD's LBE subcontracting requirements without the pre-approval written consent of CMD .

Option B: Click here to search for SBA size certified firms

(A) Unlike MICRO and SMALL size economic thresholds, SBA size economic thresholds are only available to businesses headquartered in San Francisco (i.e. LBE certified firms). This economic threshold is not available for businesses located in the SFPUC region (i.e. PUC-LBE certified firms) or Non Profit Entities (i.e. NPE certified firms);

(B) Unlike MICRO and SMALL size certified firms, SBA size LBE certfied firms are entitled to only a 5% Bid Discount in City contracting; and

(C) Unlike MICRO and SMALL size certified firms, SBA size LBE certified firms that are certified as of a bid due date cannot be used to meet CMD's LBE subcontracting requirements unless pre-approved written consent is given by CMD.
