If paying online or over the phone: Use your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and your California Child Support Automation System (CCSAS) participant ID to make a payment. To obtain a PIN, register online or over the phone at 1-866-901-3212.  When you register, a PIN is generated and mailed to the address on file. Keep a record of your PIN; it is required to make payments online or over the telephone. If you have an open case with a local child support agency and do not pay through wage withholding, you have several payment options:

  1. Pay with cash or a credit/debit card in our office using our kiosk Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
  2. Pay by check by mailing payments to: California State Disbursement Unit, P.O. Box 989067, West Sacramento, CA 95798
  3. Make a single automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account at www.casdu.com or by telephone at 1-866-901-3212
  4. Make a single credit card payment on-line at www.casdu.com or over the telephone at 1-866-901-3212
  5. Set-up ongoing (recurring) automatic withdrawals from your checking or savings account or credit card at www.casdu.com

State Disbursement Unit (SDU)

The California Department of Child Support Services established the State Disbursement Unit (SDU) to enhance efficiency and improve customer service. The SDU provides cost effective and convenient centralized processing for the collection and distribution of child support payments for all California Local Child Support Agencies (LCSAs). For the obligor parent, the SDU provides multiple payment options check, debit, credit card, cashiers checks, money orders, and automatic scheduled withdrawls. For the oblige parent, the SDU provides the option to receive payments via direct deposit, or Electronic Payment Card (EPC), and payment processing within two working days of receipt. Both parents are provided with 24 hour access to account information online and by phone.
