A. Executive Director's Report Executive Director Murase Explanatory document – The Executive Director’s Report discusses the work of the Department along
5 principles of the U.N. Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW): Implementation of Women & Girls Human Rights, Right to Adequate Standard of Living, Right to Bodily Integrity, Right to Adequate Healthcare, and Human Rights of Girls to Education and Social Services.

All matters listed hereunder constitute a Consent Agenda and are considered to be routine by the Commission on the Status of Women. They will be acted upon by a single roll call vote of the Commission. V. NEW BUSINESS DISCUSSION/ACTION
A. Elder Abuse Prevention Heidi Li, Esq. 7 min. Heidi Li, Esq., Director of the Consortium for Elder Abuse Prevention at the Institute on Aging will discuss elder abuse and public awareness of elder abuse.
B. Kimochi, Inc. Sandi Mori 7 min. Sandi Mori, Development Director with Kimochi, Inc. will provide an overview of issues elderly women face inSan Francisco.
C. Self Help for the Elderly Anni Chung 7 min. Anni Chung, Executive Director of Self Help for the Elderly will discuss issues elder women face in the city of San Francisco.
D. Jewish Family and Children's Services Staff 7 min. Staff will highlight key issues faced by agency clients.
E. Public comment on presentations and elder women's issues. 30 min.
VI. PUBLIC COMMENT DISCUSSION 5 min.
This item is to allow members of the public to comment generally on matters within the Commission’s purview as well as to suggest new agenda items for Commission’s future consideration.
VII. Commissioner Marks will adjourn the meeting in memory of former Commissioner Rosemary Farac. ACTION 1 min.
