A.        Violence Against Women Grants (VAW)      

            1.  Funding Committee Recommendations               President Munter                               20 min.                          The Commission will review the funding Committee recommendations for the VAW Prevention and          Intervention Grants Program for       the 2008-2011 funding period. 

            2.  Public Comment

            At the April 23 Commission meeting, many parties provided public testimony on these recommendations.  Priority for public comment will be given, first, to individuals who did not provide public testimony on   this agenda item at the April 23 meeting and, second, to individuals who wish to comment on issues not    raised at the April 23 meeting.

            3.  Action: To approve the funding allocation of the VAW Grants Program for the 3-year              funding cycle beginning FY 08-09.
