1.          CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
          President Carolene Marks called the meeting to order at 3:16 p.m.
Commissioner Julie Burton excused, but called in to participate.
          Commissioner Valerie Tulier excused, but called in to participate.
          Commissioner Emily Murase left at 5:00 p.m.

2.          ADOPTION OF AGENDA
m/s/c (Miles/Murase/ Approved) To adopt the agenda for the Friday, March 22, 2002, Special Meeting.

3.          PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT/HIRING: Executive Director of the Department on the Status of Women.

A.          Public Comment: (on all matters pertaining to the Closed Session)
No public comment.

B.          Closed Session: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957 and San Francisco Administrative Code Section 67.10(b) discussion regarding appointment of Executive Director.

           President Marks convened the meeting in Closed Session at 3:17 p.m.

          President Carolene Marks reconvened the Open Session at 5:03 p.m.

C. Open Session: Reconvene in Open Session and, pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 67.12(b)(4):

Motion and vote to elect whether to disclose any or all of the discussions held in closed session pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 67.12(a).

m/s/c (Keehn/Shorter/Unanimous) Moved not to disclose any discussion held in Closed Session.
