Chief Hayes-White will discuss the status of women in the fire department.
b. San Francisco’s District Attorney’s Office District Attorney Harris 15 min.
District Attorney Harris will discuss the status of women and girls within the criminal justice system in San Francisco.
c. Violence Against Women (VAW) Programs Senior Policy Analyst Donnola 15 min.
Based on input from the VAW Review Committee, the VAW Funding Committee will submit funding recommendations for the 2004-2007 funding period.

Action: To approve the recommendations of the VAW Funding Committee to fund agencies for the 2004-2007 funding allocation period.
d. Community Advisory Council Priscilla J. Banks, Community Programs Coordinator 5 min.

The Community Advisory Council will work with the Women’s Breast Care Program at San Francisco General
Hospital to help the Program continue to meet is goals and objectives.
Action: To appoint a Commissioner to serve on the Community Advisory Council.
e. Sexual Harassment Megan Dunn, SEIU Local 24/7 5 min.

Ms. Dunn will discuss the alleged sexual harassment at the JP Morgan Chase building by Guardsmark Security.
Action: To write a letter to of concern to JP Morgan Chase and Guardsmark regarding the alleged sexual harassment.

a. Justice and Courage Project Commissioner Keehn 5 min.
The Justice and Courage Project is designed to implement the recommendations outlined in the Justice & Courage Report: A Blueprint for San Francisco’s Response to Domestic Violence.

Action: To approve the 2003-2004 goals of the Justice and Courage Project.

The Commission will discuss the vision and make-up of the Girls Committee and the public outreach.
c. Healthy Californians Biomonitoring Program Representative from Senator Ortiz’s Office 5 min.
Lori Low, Breast Cancer Fund 5 min.
Update on the Healthy Californians Biomonitoring Program, SB 1168.
SB1168 would create a statewide biomonitoring program to monitor body fluids such as blood, urine and breast milk to measure pollutants and harmful chemicals.

Accessible MUNI Metro station in the Van Ness Station and lines are J, K, L, M and N. Accessible MUNI Lines are the 6, 7, 9, 42, 47, 49, and 71 lines. Accessible seating for persons with disabilities (including those using wheelchairs) will be available. Meeting proceedings available in alternative formats. The Board of Supervisors has amended the Sunshine Ordinance by adding provision 67A.1. The provision is effective as of January 21, 2001.
